The GO Concert utilizes the power of music and media to inspire action in mission, evangelism and social action. It combines over 15 video elements, full audio and lighting production and band hemmed in with a powerful message to live missionally. The challenge to live faith out loud comes via video from authors and speakers Bill Hybels- Becoming a Contagious Christian and Just Walk Across the Room, Shane Claiborne- The Irresistible Revolution, and Todd Phillips - Get Uncomfortable. Founder/artist of The GO Concert, Lucas Parry, delivers an energizing message highlighting the call of Christ to live missionally, from home - to the ends of the earth.  

A jam packed, engaging, one hour and thirty minutes which will leave you fired up, equipped and ready to change the world!

 

HOW CAN THE GO CONCERT BE USED? 

We’re really glad you asked. Actually there are quite a few ways TGC can be incorporated into your ministry event. Here are just a few:

• Retreat/Camp/D-Now - Lucas and the band can lead worship throughout your event and then on the final night present The GO Concert. Ending your event with a bang!
• Concert - Lucas and the band can come in for your one-time concert, ministry event or outreach.
• Mission Fundraiser - If you have a fundraiser, consider having The GO Concert our to help inspire people to give beyond measure.
• Church Service/Mission Sunday - Lucas and the band can slot in on your regular Sunday church service. The GO Concert fits perfectly as it incorporates powerful worship, an inspiring message from the Word of God and an opportunity for reflection and response.

A NOTE FROM LUCAS

Do I have a mission? Can God really use me to change the world?

These are questions that I’ve heard echoed from students, parents and children over five different continents and in countless languages. In busy urban metropolises all the way out to the deserts of Botswana, people are searching for truth, meaning and purpose. The answers to these questions have the power to shape our entire future, give us direction through the mazes of life and give us great personal satisfaction. However, countless times I’ve seen people give up seeking these answers and settling for a mundane, ordinary life filled with a constant longing for more.

The Bible is full of answers to these questions! We don’t need to dig very far into its pages to find that God has created each and every one of us to do great things (Jeremiah 29:11), with huge purpose (Matthew 28:28-30) to help shape all of eternity (Revelation 7:9-10). We all have a “mission”! Our aim with The GO Concert is to marry music, jaw-dropping media and the Word of God to help illuminate that individual “mission” and equip people with great resources to ‘go out into the world’ and do that work.

The world is crying out for Christians to stand up and live the life we profess. Gandhi was quoted as once saying “If Christians would really live according to the teachings of Christ, as found in the Bible, all of India would be Christian today.” Wow! What a challenge: the relationship we have with Jesus, the mission of loving God and loving people and taking that message out into all the world.

The time is now, we are the people, so lets live extraordinary lives, lives of purpose and mission!
